100% Fee exemption for five types of documents when using online public services

From May 29, 2024, to December 31, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has implemented a policy granting a 100% fee exemption for five categories of administrative procedure documents when processed through online public service platforms.

This initiative is a key component of the city’s 2024 Digital Transformation Plan, aimed at facilitating access and encouraging citizens and companies to adopt and develop a habit of conducting administrative procedures via digital channels.

Specifically, the types of documents eligible for fee exemption include:

1. Civil status registration fees
2. Fees for the issuance of work permits to foreign nationals working in Vietnam
3. Business registration fees
4. Fees for the issuance of land use rights certificates, house ownership, and assets attached to land
5. Construction permit fees

Citizens and companies may complete these procedures through Ho Chi Minh City’s Administrative Procedure Resolution Information System at https://dichvucong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn or via the National Public Service Portal at https://dichvucong.gov.vn to enjoy full exemption from related charges and fees.

This policy aims to promote the use of online public services, accelerate the digital transformation process, and support the development of a modern and transparent digital public administration in Ho Chi Minh City.
